This one somehow didn't get on the list, but it's a start from Ink Circles. Changed colors and I get my choice of what to put in the middle.

A nice and easy little start. Should go quickly when I pick it back up.

This is the first of four little snowflakes that will be arranged in a square.

 

23 for 2023 #3: Flower Square by Olga Maxden

This is well started; I changed up the colors of course, and they're a bit washed out here, but this should look pretty cute when it's done.

 

First Snowed

A nice little piece that I may turn into a bookmark or something else. Anyway, I think it came out cute.

This one has no bees, just hearts.

Lots of bees in this one. And a bit of stitching to go.

 

23 for 2023 #10: Autumn Ornament by Helena Chatte

I completely changed up the colors on this, and I think it looks pretty good. Original was done on linen; I've changed to congress cloth.

 

Blackwork Ornament

One of my first finishes of 2023. I am hoping to get more things to a final stage this year. This one's going in my ornaments to give away box.

 

23 for 2023 #2: Ink Spot #15 - Retreat Treat by Ink Circles

This should be a fairly quick and pretty stitch. Will make a good daily stitch later in the year.

 

23 for 2023 #6: Have a Heart by Erica Michaels

I think this one is going to turn out beautifully.

 

Bit of a Dump

This didn't finish well - it's off center and the color combo didn't sit well with me. So into the donation bin it went.

I started on this. Mary Corbet has a kit for finishing it too, that I have. Now I need to embroider it before that part. But I think my branches are looking pretty good.

Not So Bright Idea

Finished, but I really should have used a different color of fabric. So it will be going in the donation pile. Lesson learned: Don't settle for the fabric you have on hand when you're away from your stash.

 

A Useful Finish

I had this little square box. And a completed piece of needlepoint that fit right on top. So I married the two.

23 for 2023: #1 Aurora Borealis by Mill Hill

A Mill Hill start for the new year. Starting 23 pieces in January. I did manage to complete 52 projects last year, and hope to get even more done this year.
