 Lots of dancers and then the drums - imagine being close to those massed drums as they beat down the street.  The sounds is so loud your body reverberates.

Now that the middle building is done, I'm pushing on for the rest.  Hopefully they'll take less time.

Been a Long Time

I started this quite a while ago (like - two years?) and, since I had a spot in my rotation, put it in.  It's got maybe one or two more sessions and it's done.  The design is Cassatt by Kick Back and Stitch.

Crowds Gather

This is a picture of the crowd early in the evening.  It only got more packed as the night wore on.  The pictures below are mainly of C1080, the comparsa group I consider the best in the competition this year.

Back in Bag

Truly, I'm being good.  As you can see, I haven't started the fourth panel yet.  Got another couple of stripes done, though.
