Dinner Out at MallDova

Yes, the local mall in town is really named MallDova.  It's full of shops from around Europe and several restaurants.  We went to the Seasons Bistro on the bottom floor and had a very nice dinner a couple of weeks ago.  They even had caprainas on the menu, but they're still not as good a real South American ones.  Andreas wasn't feeling adventurous, so he had a plain teriyaki grilled chicken.  I had chicken soup and lamb kuvarma.  Both were good, though the lamb was slightly dry.  We'll definitely be going back.

Darken the Leaf

Another color added to the leaf.  I wasn't sure about this when I started, but it's beginning to shape up into something nice.

A Bit of Swirl, A Bit of Stamen

Two of three fruits are almost done, and the stamen of the top flower is started.

Purse Project Update

While traveling I managed to do some work on my purse project, The Sweetheart Tree's "Love Square".  I'm beginning to fill two of four in.

Airport Food

W got to Dulles Airport very early because of the check out time on our apartment.  Lunch was called for once the bags were checked and we''d passed through security.  Andreas had a Cuban sandwich and I had chicken fingers.  Not surprisingly, the food was unremarkable.

BirthdayFloss!

Aren't I lucky?  I received all this beautiful floss from the group at the Stitch Specialists on Yahoo.  They're gorgeous and so different! I'll be using them soon.  Thank you so much, ladies!

Promise Fulfilled

Before we left Uruguay, I promised Natalie I'd make her a scarf.  So I did!  It's in the mail to her as I write.  I hope she likes it this winter in New York.
