Who Knew?

Who knew such a small (2x2) design could take me so long to do?  At least I've not abandoned it.

Bee Board

Betsy also made a memo board for me, remembering that I like bees!  It's very cute, and now that it's here, I need to figure out where to put it.  Thanks again, Betsy.

Another Basket By Betsy

This is another cordwrapped basket by Betsy.  Thank you for making it for us.  We're going to use it as a catchall in the entryway instead of the cardboard box that's there now.

Another Asian Block

This is the last of the midnight Asian blocks in the round robin.  Peggy had mentioned a Ming tree in her notes, and no one had made one yet, so I did.  The block is somewhat plain after I did it, but it didn't seem right to embellish it more and detract from the tree.

Top Sider

Still progressing, albeit slowly.  The top side of the second square is done.

Indian Inspired

Someone else caught onto my idea that Asia isn't just the far east!  Rita sent her blocks asking for India-inspired stitchery.  What is a better exemplar of India than a paisley, one of the shapes invented there?  So I did one!  I added a few more mandala type things, too.  I hope she likes it.

A Few More Bits

Almost the last of what I bought in the States.  I'm still waiting for some of the stuff to come by mail.
