My Student's Work - So Proud!

I started teaching Carolina and Ana in July of this year.  Unusual for Moldovans, neither had done any needlework since elementary school.  They both took to it like ducks to water, and a couple of weeks ago, Carolina brought some of her work over for my husband to photograph.  I'm so proud of her!  They're all gorgeous, and she's done so well with different patterns, making up her own designs, and picking great color combinations.  She's getting better than I am!

Little More Sparkly

The week I was in Munich, this didn't get much work.  I didn't bring it with me because beads are a pain when you're moving around.  I did get a little stitch time with it after we got back.  It's just a little more sparkly now.

Christmas Lights

At the Viktualenmarkt and then the main square at night.  The lights we so very pretty to look at, even if it was cold!

One And A Half Snowmen

Nearly halfway done!  Lots of progress in a week.

One Buy For Me

There was a bookbinder at the Schwabing Christmas market.  She made beautiful stuff, and I am a sucker for this kind of thing.  The name of her company, with her two partners, is Papier Macht Drei.

We bought a handmade box and a calendar for me for next year.  I love them!

Outside The Residenz

This is the big square between the Residenz and the Mercedes showroom.

Tone Done

I finished with this double kiku temari.  I think it looks pretty good.
