Vitoriana, Wooden Swords, And The Hora

Random audience photos of Moldovans enjoying the day.  I don't know how the ladies in medieval and Victorian dress managed  to survive the ninety degree temperatures!  There was what became a huge hora ring in front of the stage for a little while; the hora is the national dance of Moldova.  It's done at practically every event, including weddings.  You can also see Moldova's high concern for safety in the manner the children are playing with their wooden swords.

Jammed Up

There was a lovely jam seller in Brasov giving out samples.  When I saw she had hot pepper jelly, Andreas had to try it.  He also found rhubarb, and she convinced us to try garlic jam.  It was surprisingly delicious, so we took all three!

Enclosed

Completely enclosed and now for some outline-y bits.

Bring Out The Big Drum

New Age and Moldovan music just .... don't mix.

Blades Of Grass

Edging toward the right edge of the piece, I now have two! blades of grass.

Maille Jewelry

Andreas kickstarted a project for me.  It was chain maille jewelry.  The results came in last week, and here they are.  I've already worn some.

Interesting People

People watching at the medieval fair on a lovely Sunday in June.
