I added another surface embroidery to my starts.  I especially like that this one is preprinted.  Yay for not having to draw it!

Cluj Lights

The lights in Cluj were quite pretty despite the rain.  The tentlike lights were over the central square of the Christmas market.

Found In Budapest

We got lost and found a stitch shop in Budapest.  So.... i had to buy something, right?  Two Hungarian crochet magazines, a quilting ornament kit, and a Japanese embroidery magazine.  Score!

Frogging Time

I put the piece on bottom on bottom.  It's supposed to be on the left side, and I stitched it that way, so the stitches are oriented wrong.  Lots of frogging to do.

I hope to get this finished by Christmas so I can give it and the Peace on Earth ornament to my mother.

Different From Moldovan

In Cluj, we had dinner in a place where we got out of the rain.  It was La Ardealul, named after the forest.  During this meal, we learned that Transylvanian food is very different from Moldovan.  I learned their chicken soup is -not- zeama.  Andreas learned the polenta is not mamaliga.  They were good, at least, if not what we are used to.

One Stitch Short

At this point, I realized I am one stitch too narrow on this piece.  I am going to compensate.  No way am I doing all that frogging!
