Nimitz Museum - Fredericksburg, Texas

Andreas is cleaning out his photo processing queue, so you're seeing a lot of old photos.  These are from December 2013 when we went on home leave.  We spent some time in Fredericksburg; one of the interesting things there is the Nimitz Museum.  These shots are of the outside in back.  The front looks like the hotel the Nimitz family ran at the turn of the 20th century.  There is a Japanese garden, and there are also some World War II vintage amphibious troop carriers and a few small boats.

Heartlined

This is at least outlined now and there are a few lines on the inside too.

Medieval Fridgies

We bought these three magnets at the Medieval Festival at Vatra.  They look pretty neat.

Ol' Smoky Moonshine Shop

Gatlinburg has two moonshine shops.  Both give out free samples.  This is one of them; across the street is the other.  The shop is pretty elaborate.

Almost Three

I am so close to having the third leaf done.  Slowly it's getting there.

Pristina Mosque

This mosque had been hanging in the house with a plain black frame and white mat.  I think it looks much better now, thanks to MolDeco.

Butterflies In Every Photo

Despite the cold December temperatures, the butterflies were out in the conservatory.  Can you find them in all these photos?
