Indian Candy

We asked the opinion of our local guide about taking home some local candy for friends.  He recommended these.  Most candy, he says, is made elsewhere, but these are authentic.  They truly taste like the fruits, but after a little bit have a slight chili zing to them.

Bit More Blue

There's a little bit more blue and white along with the green done this time.  I think it is beginning to look like a real piece of stitching.

Looking Down

I suffer from vertigo, so it was a bit of a challenge for me to take these two photos.  There are no rails, not even a small curb, to stop you from tumbling down the side.  Scary!

Boxed

I bought so much stuff at one store that I was given a free box!  It's papier mache and hand painted.  I think it's very pretty.

Far Vistas

This cliff goes on for miles, yet it's got no infrastructure.  Angola is very anti-tourist.  It is very hard to get a visa, even for Europeans and Americans.  They don't want tourists.  I believe this is because if they have tourists, the people would learn that the government is not treating them well and revolt.

Leafing About

Took this with me to India.  It's now time for it to get done.

Bed Set

Since we are planning to have an actual guest bedroom in Kosovo, we bought a bed set in India.  Four cushion covers, one duvet cover, and two pillowcases - all out of silk.  It's really pretty!  Who's going to come visit?
