Working On The Windows

The windows on the top house are coming to be gridded, and the side gardens are doing well.

Meh Pub Food

The day Andreas got to London, we ate at the pub a block from the hotel.  The food was obviously only reheated on location.  Anyway, the cider was good.

September Start

I started something new because I was tired of not getting far enough to finish things.  This will be a small ornament from Shannon Christine Designs.  Beads and bling.  After Halloween, I will be adding a lot more Christmas type stitching and putting some other things aside until the end of the year.

Fab Fit Fun Summer Box

This box was definitely worth more than I paid for it.  The teapot's adorable, and I used the umbrella on my recent visit to Prague.  Not sure about the purse.  The rest of the stuff has been pretty good, though!

Tapas At Melia White House

After being discharged from the hospital, I was booked into the Melia White House hotel, about six blocks away from the hospital.  I couldn't leave for another six days, because one of the doctors didn't clear me to fly yet.  Horrors.  Six days in London, hotel paid for and on meals and incidentals, too.  This is some of the tapas selection from the daily evening treat for premium guests.  I was a premium guest because the embassy has a deal with the hotel to have all of us booked by them as premium.  Nice perq.  Food was pretty good, but it leaned heavily toward seafood.

Aroydee Again

I don't know why this wasn't with the earlier stuff, but it's Thai and in Germany for our last major meal there.  So, of course, it's Aroydee.  Good as usual.

Macedonian Village

This place is like a lot of eco resorts you find in eastern Europe, except possibly bigger and none of the staff lives there.  It's a hotel with over a hundred rooms, a few restaurants, a great view, and some craftspeople.  Locals use it as a place to hold wedding receptions.  It's a nice place to be, actually.
