Fiberlicious Fabrics

Bought these on a sale. Going to have to find a project for each.

Nearly Black Eyed

I am so close to being done with this square. There are only a few small things to go.

First Macedonia Meal

Back over Labor Day weekend we went to Skopje for a well deserved break. We ate a lot of meals at a lot of restaurants. This was the first one, which I believe was at the Irish pub. It was middling good. Nothing exceptional, but there was poor service.

To The Trees

Yay, I get to do something new on this! And start more specialty stitches too. Lots of Rhodes coming up - and trees.

Fiberlicious October

The two sets don't go together, but I LOVE the fabric.

Straight From Wisconsin

Yes, you too can get cheese and meat in the mail. We do. We got this from Wisconsin River Meats. They deliver to APO/FPO/DPO and it's still fresh! So we can have this despite living in the Balkans.

Kosovo Steak On A Stone

This is the first thing I've found that Angola is better at than Kosovo. We went to Kulla, a restaurant on a mountain outside Pristina, and I ordered steak on a stone.  Mistake! Unlike Angola, where you get a very thick piece of meat, here it's paper thin. I was SO disappointed. The meat cooked so quickly and was tough. The rest of the food, ordered by others, was good. It is just that Kosovo doesn't do steak on a stone right.
