After Two and a Half Years...

Add ImageIt's DONE! I finished Midi Mystery 2 yesterday. My husband already has the frame and just needs to order some mats and do the lacing and such. The one thing I'd change on this is the background fabric, given a choice. I like the lavender plants in the corners and I looove the Desert Shadows color of Waterlilies. This is my largest Chatelaine finish to date, even though I've been working for a longer time on Medieval Town Mandala.

  5. Oh Meg, well done! I have been fol, oowing your progreoss on your blog - it is such an attractive piece, isn't it! I wonder what fabric you would have preferred in hindsight? I cannot imagine anything better than this one; the colour seems perfect to me.

And may I also say that I am looking forward to seeing more of the Medieval Town Mandala. I keep thinking about googling it to see what the finished thing looks like, but I htink I will wait to see it being revealed on your blog.

  14. Thanks for all the compliments, everyone!

Jocelyn - I'd've used a lighter color fabric. A friend is doing this on PTP's Carnival and it's coming out nice. And Shebafudge - you should see some of her other things! Martina of Chatelaine Designs does some stunning stuff.
