The right got a bit of love this time. I want to get all four quarters to the same point each time. I will have a LOT of rhodes stitches to fill in once I'm done with this part of the mandala.
This has come back up on my rotation, and I have rediscovered that this color combination appeals to me. The top border is stitching up pretty quickly, so I hope this is one of those small, fast projects.
A few weeks ago we went to a rakia tasting, and we bought some. Pictures of that later. This is some honeyed fruit the rakia makers also made. It'll be good in oatmeal and such, as it is far too sweet to eat alone.
I am so very close to the vertical halfway point of this! It's growing, to the point where Andreas remarked that it's getting large. I still love the look of it. Once I'm past the halfway point, I'll start backstitching too.
Andreas' parents sent me candy from Japan as part of my Christmas present. It arrived last week after spending a couple of months on the USS Nimitz. The fruit gums were good, and I will be breaking into the creme brulee kit kats tomorrow.
The bottom half has a lot less stitching on it than the top, and I am getting so very close to the bottom half. Maybe I should start back stitching soon.
