Two Sided

Two sides done on the last part. Feeling accomplished.

 

An Experiment

Decided to experiment with a pattern. Not the best, not the worst.

 

Tabling

The table is well along now. It's a bit of a fun pattern to stitch. The table and mirror are the final large motifs of the piece.

 

Half Wings

The wings are the single largest area of stitching on this piece. And I am now halfway done with them. 

 

More Bags

Top two bags were not part of the mystery box. The big brown one has gotten a lot of use over the past couple of trips. The blue is a good yarn holder. And a bunch of littles.

 

Pizza in the Oven

Making our normal Thursday night dinner.

Andreas decided I need to try a retractable fountain pen. It works pretty well.

Now the bear's uniform is visible. Evidently he wore one.

 

Little Bit of Back

Worked a bit more on the panda's face and back. It's getting there. Slowly, but progress.

 

Leonora Cooked Again

Another outstanding meal by Leonora. The duck legs were the best I've ever tasted.

 

Putting Little Flowers In

Not really visible yet, but there are little flowers on the left hand bottom side. Getting them put in before starting again on the peacock tail.

 

Ukrainian Motif Ornament

This ornament went to Hale when he left to retire to Oklahoma.

 

Simple Diamond Finish

Nothing fancy here, but now it's ready to give away.

 

Getting the Purple On

Lots of purple in the last stitch. Green is coming out, too. But that flower is d-o-n-e.

 

Bluebonnets Done

This is done, and it looks pretty good. Not sure how I am going to finish-finish it yet.

 

Another Gdynia Sculpture

This one, I believe, is meant to represent ships and waves. Lots of kids, though, were running down the ramps.

 

Still a Neverending Skirt

Feels like I am so close but still plodding along on this.

 

Tons of Metallics

I bought a lot of random items from Kreinik's moving sale. This is what they sent me. I will use it all! Eventually.

One Bar

Doing the big bars first so the little ones feel like I'm almost done. I think I will put some kind of waffle stitch or Hilton stitch in the middle as a focal point.

 

Mostly Knotted

Almost all of the internal knotting is done. Time to finish this puppy.

The frog's head is coming along. He's got some blue on him now.

Finished my flower mandala. Will put it in a hoop soon to hang.

Along the Waterfront

Gdynia has a lot going on along its waterfront. Boats, beaches, birds, and museums.
