Magnets

Magnets from our trip. Belgium and Berlin.

Advent Calendar

Leonora found this advent calendar and bought it for me. Thank you! You know I love jelly beans.

Almost Invisible

You can't really see the work I've been doing, but it's there. The stems and leaf veins are beginning to take shape. Lots left to do. It's getting worked on, at least.

Edge of the Building

Picking this up after a long hiatus. I have less than four pages to go, and it's time to finish this. Anyway, some stitching along the right edge to get the gray building some substance.

Gift from the Greenley-Doyles

Lisa went shopping and got us all kinds of American goodies, then sent them in a box. Thank you so very much!

Along Unter den Linden

Berlin City Hall, Brandenburg Tor, and other sites along Unter den Linden during our trip.

2024 Wrap Up and Beginning 2025

I completed 38 stitched pieces in 2024; 3 afghans; and 5 temari. Not nearly the amount of things I had planned. It's been a busy year with a full time job and lots of travel. For all the month of December I worked on Victorian Garden Mandala, hoping to get it done. I didn't. All the cross stitch is done, but the backstitching and beading has a bit to go. I hope to finish it this first quarter.

2025 is shaping up to be hectic. I was accepted into the Certificate and Diploma program by RSN. Great for me, they're now doing it on Zoom. Bad for me - I signed up for the Europe time zone before learning I was going to be in the US for ten weeks during the first module. Guess who's getting up in the middle of the night for class for several sessions?

I will be in the US for training March through mid-May if things don't go sideways with the change of administration. I've been accepted into the Limited Non-Career Appointment program. It gives me the ability to do a bit more things in my job and comes with a raise.

After I get back, Andreas and I go on home leave. I return to Warsaw. Andreas continue to Kyiv, where he will spend a year living in a hotel. He does get to come home some, so I will see him and we will talk every day. But still. So much going on.
