Most Stitches Done

Stitches on the upper half are done and most of the bottom, too. But it still doesn't look like much. Back stitching will make a huge difference in this little piece.

Top of the Cross

I've had this kit for about 30 years, and it's about time I worked it. So here it is.

Well Started

I have a good start on my needlepoint module. The subject is a Chinese pavilion in Lazienki Park here in Warsaw.

Knives

When in Knoxville, we always make a stop at Smokey Mountain Knife Works. Bought less than usual this time.

Andreas' Request - Genghis Grill

Every home leave we go to Genghis Grill. Andreas likes putting together his own ingredients and getting them cooked for him.

Lots of Expressions

Lots of emotional expression in these puppy pictures.

Kozlovna Lunch

A late September lunch at Kozlovna, a Czech pub. Good and cheap food.

Owled

The owl is owled and ready to be made into something. Not sure what yet.

Snacks from Isabell

Isabell and I swapped again when I got home from home leave - so I could put some American snacks in. Here is what she sent me!

Another Favorite

I can't want to go back to Joe T.'s in August. Their food is soooo good.

Usual Positions

All three puppies in places I find them around the house.

So Much Orange

All the middles of the little medallions need to be filled in, but this is getting close to being done.

Fabric Grab Bag

Picked this up in a quilt shop in Tennessee. Most of it's cut up into little squares and bars. It's all a light flannel that will be good for baby quilts.

Back to Ol' South

What can I say? We really like this place. And we get to go back in August.

Lounging Around

Chad sometimes looks like a shark and the others look content lying around the house.

Finished Stitching

The stitching is finished and I've now stretched this on a board. Still a little bit more to go before I can send it in for evaluation.
