Most Stitches Done

Stitches on the upper half are done and most of the bottom, too. But it still doesn't look like much. Back stitching will make a huge difference in this little piece.
 

Top of the Cross

I've had this kit for about 30 years, and it's about time I worked it. So here it is. 

 

Trumpeting the Pine?

My little Angel of the Pines already has her trumpet done. She should be a quick stitch.

 

Getting More Green and Black

Put in some more leaves this time and a bit of chest. Starting on the arms soon.

 

Color of the Day - Beige

Getting more tree branch done with a shot of beige.

 

Owled

The owl is owled and ready to be made into something. Not sure what yet.

 

DEFG

Working on the alphabet and doing all the special stitches around it. I think this will be pretty when finished, even though the alphabet fades into the background.

 

Still So Much

Still so much to go on this. It almost doesn't feel like I have progress.

 

Frog Legs

Time to make some more frog legs. The belly's done on this one and it's time to stretch him out.

 

Scaffolding the Roof

Making the skeleton of the roof of the small house. Looks like real progress for once.

 

Two Bells

At this point, it's pretty obvious why these flowers are called bluebells. One and a half to go.

 

Making a Stone

Just worked on the stone on the left. It and the red panda's back are now filled in and substantial. About halfway done now.

 

Building a Wing

I'm slowly building the dragon's wing. It's gotten to the point where most spines are done and it needs to be filled in. I've also gotten to the farthest right stitch of the design.

 

Past the Pole and Almost to the Bottom

The skirt is still expanding; I've gotten well past the pole now but not started the bottom border or the wheat ears. They're coming soon, though.

 

Making a Roof

The final house has a column now and the start of a roof and shutter. Progress.

 

Almost Armadillo

Just need to finish the tail on the little armadillo.

 

Drawing Some Rectangles

Drawing rectangles on the left and right to make them hold some Rhodes stitches when the time comes. The left arch is also more complete. Time to work on the middle and right arches.

I am embarrassingly far behind on posting. This year with Andreas away has been super busy and a bit occupied. This is a biscornu with tiny! stitches. 

 

Finally Finished

Yay, it's done! And it's getting put away for a bit until I can find a framer I trust in Warsaw.

 

Down to the Last Flower

Last flower started. Then a couple of blades of grass and another finish.
