Three Houses

The third house is pretty much done. Feels good to get a row finished.

Medallions

The medallions are similar to the ones found in the Roman city ruins not far from the winery. Evidently the area as also known for wine back then too.

Bringing More Blue

Blue side curls are started and bring a bit more border.

Stobi Wine Production

CLO took a trip to Stobi winery last July. Here is our tour of the manufacturing process. I find it not as well run as in Moldova.

Working On The Bottom

I'm working on the  third side now for the gardens. Things are progressing even if I'm still working on all the specialty stitches on the top.

Big Heart Done

I did some battlement couching when I worked on this. That big heart took a lot of work. Unfortunately, the spinner hasn't been kind since.

Spring FabFitFun

Lots of good things this time. Andreas won't let me take the backpack to Naples next week because he's afraid I'll get pickpocketed. I love the little necklace and the small picnic set is going in our go bags. Plus a lot of products to try.

Ponte Vecchio Dinner

Lasagna and pasta carbonara at one of the best Italian restaurant in town, Ponte Vecchio. The portions are so big Andreas couldn't finish!

Valentine's Stitchy Box

This box was full of fabric and thread, the things I like best. I'll get to use them soon for Stitch Maynia.

Bits Of Pink

The pink house is becoming visible, though there's more yellow than pink right now. Backstitching is almost all caught up, too.

Quadded

Slowly working this to done. The fourth square is done and I'm working on the bottom triangles now.

Summer Dessert

There are a lot of dessert shops in Pristina, and they are especially busy in the summer as people want to walk about and see and be seen. The dessert looked really pretty but was too sweet and didn't have enough actual flavor.

New Pen

I have another new pen to use. This one feels nice in my hand.

Pristina Gets 511

Andreas was happy to see a 511 store downtown. Makes sense; lots of local uniforms use tacticals.

Student Gifts

The earrings and the necklace are from my students in Mitrovica. They made them themselves. Aren't they pretty?

Bogging Down

Not all that much to do, yet the spinner isn't favoring this at the moment. So it languishes.

Another Teaching Temari

I used this temari as a model to teach my students in Mitrovica how to mark temari and make kikus. They were pretty successful.
