Dinner at Lisa's

Lisa's the restaurant, not Lisa's the home. This was a dinner with our Lisa, though, to help celebrate her birthday. And it was good.

 

The Best Macarons Ever

Leonora made these macarons, and they were so good I can still taste them in my dreams.

 

Country House

Country House is located just north of Pristina proper on the side of a mountain and has great food. It overlooks more countryside and a restaurant or two. 

 

Caramel Cupcakes

That time Leonora made chocolate cupcakes with caramel frosting. They were so good.

 

Beautiful Cheesecake

Leonora made this beautiful cheesecake for one of my colleagues' birthday. It was delicious and totally beautiful.

 

Lunch at Kulla

Kulla is by downtown Peje. The food is a bit more traditional and less great tasting than Era.

 

Beans at Etno Kuca

The first time we took Leonora to Etno Kuca, they offered us beans with meat, an off menu item. We accepted. They were good!

 

Another Sheep

Yet another Balkan banquet at Nuovo Monte. I miss that place.

 

Ciao!

Went to Ciao with friends back in October 2021. While the atmosphere was good, the food still doesn't measure up to Etno Kuca.

 

Birthday Cake

Leonora surprised me with a birthday cake when we came home from Italy a year and a half ago. I just got the photos from Andreas.  Beautiful cake, wonderful memory. Thank you Leonora.

 

Hotel Moskva Restaurant

Hotel Moskva is a landmark in Belgrade, and their pastries are well known. They also have a restaurant, and it was a block from where we were, so we went to eat there on a very snowy day, all five of us. Food was excellent and so well presented. And of course, we ordered too much.
