Catching Up Finishes

I have a small flurry of finishes and it's making me feel better about progress.  This is already back from MolDeco (they're fast!) and ready to be wrapped as a gift!

Topped

The top border is complete!  Now I can start really working on the cute gargoyles.

At Vienna Airport

 We had time to eat between our flights on the way to Krakow from Chisinau last month.  Vienna's airport food is overpriced, of course.  All airport food is.  This, though, was also bland.  We both had goulash and it just didn't have much spice!

Seminary Area

Between Krakow's Old Market Square and Castle Wawel are several small seminaries.  We walked past them on our way to the castle during the walking tour.

Finally All Forted Up

Yay, two milestones on this!  First, my Neon Rays Plus came so I could finish the Fort Worth.  Second, the border is done.  Celebration all around.

On To Collegium Maius

 The walking tour took us back through the main market square and to Collegium Maius.  These are photos of the courtyard and the tunnel out to the back garden.  We ended up there for quite a while with questions.

On The Top

Back to the top area and working on filing in the back tree.  I still have some to do up there.

O Christmas Tree

This was the second little extra for the November meeting.  It's a cute little tree ornament.

At Florian Gate

 These photos are all right around Florian Gate.  There's a little art market on the walls, and the wall ornamentation on the buildings is interesting.

My First Stumpwork

I made this as a Little Extra for the November CyberStitchers meeting.  As a first attempt at stumpwork, I think it came out pretty well.

A Little Color

It was a relief getting off the brown briefly and doing some orange and purple on the peacock.

From Old Market Square To Florian Gate

 This trip, we actually completed the walking tour without getting lost!  The first part of the tour is from Krakow's Old Market Square to Florian Gate.
