Christmas Exchange

Another advent exchange with a bunch of snacks. This was from Florida, and a lot of the things went to the Marines.

2025 Advent Calendar

I still haven't opened half these lip balms, but I -am- using them on a regular basis!

Where the Buffalo ... Relax

Wola National Park near Szczeczin has a buffalo sanctuary for European bison. They're big, but smaller than American bison. And they tend to be pretty placid. Poland has approximately 15k bison out in the wild.

Military Saddlebags

Saddlebags from the order of march at the Waterloo museum. That's got to be wearing on the horses after a while. Imaging fighting with that. I guess it's protection for the horse?

Puppies Relaxing

In this set, proof that all three can share a bed at the same time. And that they all enjoy being on the furniture.

Riese Tunnels Big Enough for Cars

This is one of the now-uncovered entrances to Project Riese. It was hidden for decades before coming to light. Helped that it's in a forested rural area of Poland. And the tunnels were big enough to let cars drive - because the network was going to be huge.

Euro Bison

Wola National Park is on an island near Szczeczin (Stettin) on the Polish-German border. They have a bison sanctuary there that you can visit. Euro bison are definitely smaller than the American version.
