U Swejka Lunch

This place is a ten minute walk from the Embassy, so we go out to lunch here when we have a bit of time. It's less often than I would like. Food is quick, cheap, and delicious.

Getting to be able to work on the peahen now. Since her blocks are a bit more solid, I should be a bit quicker.

Two petals, more or less, to finish this flower. It's not going to have more complete petals because the dragon is going to cover some up.

My New Ring

I saw this ring in an ad, showed it to Andreas, and the next thing I knew, it was here. It's truly lovely and I haven't taken it off since. A giant blue topaz surrounded by tiny opals.

 

Tea

Tea from Japan in a beautiful container from Andreas' parents. Now to drink the tea so we can use the container! Thank you!

This stitch takes up -so- much thread. But it looks good, at least.

 

Skirting the Problem

There's a row mismatch between the left and right sides I am going to have to resolve soon. In the meantime, I just keep getting more done.
