26 for 2026 #1: Hope by Reflets de Soie

Here's the beginning of Hope. I like these little beaded ornaments.

 

So Very Close

Everything except the background is done.

 

Another Flower Complete

My big flower looks really good, I think. A bit more on flowers to go.

 

A Bit of Stone

The panda looks like a red panda now and the face looks cute. But it needs to get more of the background done.

 

Up to T

All the alphabet is getting done more quickly than the bits around it. 

 

Background Left

Just need to do the background and then this puppy's done.

 

Little Wildflower Circle

All done, including dozens of French knots.

 

Bunny Ears

Ears are done, but the faces need a lot of work. Coming along, though.

 

Dragonfly and Lily

The little dragonfly and tiger lily are done. Now to put them into the frame this came with.

 

Goodness, Bluebells

The two bluebells already done look good. Time to do the third.

 

Sideways Panda

Little red panda is sideways but is getting some of his front done. He's even holding leaves now.

 

Half the Alphabet

The alphabet goes quickly. The stitching on the edges, not so much. And this photo's way too dark. But it's still showing progress.

 

Legging It

 

Now the belly is done it's time to work on the legs of this blue froggie.

Lots of Loops

So very much detached chain stitch on this. But it works. Photo is truly awful, though.

 

Blue Jay Birdie

Time to make this into a little ornament.

 

Dillo-ed

Armadillo is ready to find a home.

 

Got Hearts

Hearts are in place and it's about time to do the background.

 

Two Full Flowers

Progressing along - one more flower, the largest, done. One more to go.

 

Backstitching Made the Piece

Until I did the backstitching, this looked like a bunch of blobs. Now it looks like a street. And it's  done. Yay!

 

Still on the Top Post

This is one of those pieces I take with me when I think I might have time to stitch. I usually don't have the time, but at least I'm prepared. And sometimes I -do- have the time. Which is why this piece is progressing.
