Three Flowers

Still on track for a before Thanksgiving finish. I am waiting for more super pearl purl to finish the lines; in the meantime, three flowers are colored.

Past The Cloak

I am so close to having the picture done!  I'm all the way past the man, who now has two legs...

To The Staff

The picture is complete to the staff.  I'm getting so much closer.  Can't wait for the picture to be done.

Some Stones

Everything in the picture is done through the stone outcropping.  Slowly I progress to get the rest of this done.  It's so full of confetti!

One Corner

I have one corner of the bottom part of the dragon picture done!  Progress!  I've decided to just work my way across the area and finish off chunks all the way to the bottom so I see real progress.

Still More Grass

Still more grass done, and I have the bottom edge of the panel nearly done.  I will take this to Vienna with me next week and work on it.

Slowly Filling In

More confetti this time, and some patches of grass are beginning to look like actual patches of grass.

So Much Confetti

The two things you can count on with Teresa Wentzler are confetti stitches and blended thread.  I am stuck in an area with a lot of both at the moment.

Odds And Ends

Little bits of different colors done on the picture part.  Still just plugging away at it.  Maybe in the new year I'll get ambitious and just finish off the actual picture.

More Green

So slowly I am getting this middle picture done.  More green this time, with a touch more pink and some beige.

I Hate Confetti

More little scattered stitches and the spade of the tail's done.  Accomplishment!

Going Green

Bits of green and pink filled in on the background now.

Doesn't Look Like Much

I've managed to get the tail mostly done now, plus some more grass in the picture.  There were also some rhodes stitches done this time.

Grinding Through

I feel like I am grinding through these last ten rows of confetti stitches in the picture part.  It -is- coming along; it just looks like it's not.

Eyed Across

I am all the way across with the light colored eye stitches under the title banner.  The bottom is getting so close to the end of the picture!  It's less than ten lines to go.

Filling In

Slowly I am completing the picture panel.  I've got to get some DMC 611, though.  For some reason, I had none at home.  Good thing I'm in the US this week.  No wait.  The first color of rhodes stitches under the title is about done, too.

Unfinished Object To Finished Object

I started this at least seven years ago and abandoned it while in Moldova for some reason.  When I packed out my stitching for the transition from Moldova to Angola, I decided to take this with me to finish.  I did it!  It's done, and I think it came out pretty well.  It was my first finish of 2016.  Now I really wish my stash would get here.  Supposedly it's at the port but we won't get anything for another couple of weeks.

Jelly Bellies Finally Finished

I finally finished my Jelly Bellies pilot from Caela Conn Tyler.  It's a pretty piece, and I hope the recipient likes it, but... the instructions were disorganized and assumptive, and a lot of the fiddly bits were fiddly solely as a "tour de force" of unneeded stitching techniques.  Many things could have given the same effects for far less effort.  Anyway, it's done and I'm happy about that!  It took a three month hiatus during the move.

UFO Be Gone

I started this a couple of years ago. Piecing's always easy for me; it's the quilting part that bogs me down. Two of the rows of triangles were already quilted when I picked this up last week. At the time of this picture, the third row is halfway done. Since this picture on Friday, I've finished it! Not only is the quilting done, but it's bound up and completely finished. Now to figure out what to do with it. It's about the size of a placemat...
