The Germans actually excavated quite a bit at this particular Reise location. At least four or five kilometers of tunnels and rooms. There were at least four more sites where excavation took place. This was all within the span of a year and a half.

It's Dark Down There
More of Project Reise. This was an area being built. They used these holograms to tell the story of the place. It worked well.

Entrance and Guardroom in Project Reise
Ther entrance is kind of spectacular for being hidden. There is a small trap area with the guard rooms to not let people in, of course. Most things are unfinished because the war ended before it could properly get built. This was one of six or seven sites that were started and would be matched up with each other. It was another overly ambitious Nazi plan.

Synagogue in PolIN
The museum has a full synagogue that was moved from southern Poland into the museum. It was built in the 18th century and is just a little village synagogue. But it's beautiful inside.
