Seen on the Street

A little robo delivery machine wandering around central Warsaw.

Older Than Movies

Imagine yourself on the inside of a cylinder, with the walls painted as a single subject in front of you. That's what this panorama is in Wroclaw. You climb a stairway and there's a viewing platform. This is about a battle in Poland's peasant war.
Originally there were a total of six of these panoramas in the 1890's. This is the only one left. It was transferred out of Lviv after the first world war.

Nieborow Lunch

A restaurant with militaria! Naturally we had to stop and eat. Food was very good. This place is right around the corner from Nieborow Palace. Food was also plentiful.

Projekt Strzelnica Krakow

Andreas and I had a nice after work dinner at Projekt Strzelnica when we were in Krakow. I even at some of the beets! They were cooked in orange juice, and that made them edible to me. The duck and the burger were very good, as were the "dumplings" above.

Pretty Flowers Around

Random clumps of pretty flowers and bulbs around the gardens of Nieborow.

Little Lake at Nieborow

This little lake was right near the mansion. Andreas has some neat drone footage. It was quite pretty.

Nieborow Gardens

A pillar in a field commemorating a battle, and flowers and trees all around a large area. We went in April, so lots of daffodils.

Nieberow

This place is about an hour outside of Warsaw and has this beautiful building. Unfortunately, though we had a ticket to get into the building, we couldn't find the entrance.

Unusual Door

I like doors. This one is from Malbork's courtyard. It has such an interesting set of iron banding on it.

Malbork Courtyard

Yes, the courtyard is as big as it looks. The building at the far end even has yet another courtyard. From what I understand, Malbork is the largest castle complex ever built.

Gaming Table

One of Andreas' D&D additions - a table to put over the regular table to get more room to put stuff.

Flowers from Leonora

Leonora got me this beautiful kalanchoe plant. It sits on the patio table so I can see it every time I let the puppies in or out. It's doing well even in the heat.

Entrance to the Courtyard

This castle has an imposing entrance and drawbridge, like most. There's a second drawbridge for the inner sanctum, too.
