Afghan for Meenakshi

Meenakshi had her baby in March. She's back in the Embassy and now has the afghan I made her. She picked the colors in Zakrecone Mokti yarn.

 

Afghan for Julianne

Julianne had a baby in February. I didn't get this done in time, but it's done now. With a farm theme, I picked a color that had crops, water, and sun.

 

Baby Emily's Gift

She will be born in May. Her mom likes gray and loved this. I think it came out pretty well, too!

 

Hooks

I couldn't find my pouch of crochet hooks so Andreas bought more. Working with both sets at this point.

 

Baby Afghan

Another afghan done. This one doesn't yet have a home. I am sure it will soon.

Another baby, another afghan. This is for Madelynn, Andreas' cousin's daughter. I hope she enjoys it.

 

Afghan for a Little Girl

One of my coworkers, Josh, has two girls. I had made an afghan for his newborn, then saw his toddler. I asked her if she wanted one too, and she said yes. So it was presented to her and, according to her daddy, did not leave her grasp for a full week.

New Squares

Since finishing the scarf, I started another project. This one will probably be a small afghan. Yarn is Landscapes by Lion Brand.

 

Scarf for Leonora

Leonora gets first dibs on pretty much any scarf I make. She liked this one, so it's hers. And I'm down one more ball of yarn.

 

Mabel Doily

Doily I made from stash yarn (still have over half the ball left) that is all cotton. Thinking of tying it out yarnbombing somewhere. Will have to look at the new neighborhood when I get there.

 

Dog Blanket

I had some bright, bulky yarn. The dogs now have a blanket to sleep on in the car for our PCS next week.

 

Gift For Kate

This scarf was made from one skein of yarn for a good friend, Kate. She picked the colors. I am going to miss her.

 

Random Scarf

Trying to use up -some- of my yarn, I made this. It's from one ball, and it's done. Now I need to find someone to give it to.

 

Snowflakes

Used some leftover yarn to make snowflakes. Then put one in a hoop.

 

Kerrie's Scarf

Trying to use up a bit of yarn before we leave, I made this scarf. As I was finishing it up, I offered it to Kerrie. And she accepted it! Here she's modeling it.

I am trying to get some of my yarn used, so I can carry less yarn to next post. Hopeless, I know. Anyway, these are four doilies, all from the same ball of cotton yarn.
