Time for the Text

I've stitched this piece once and given it away. This time it's for me. And it's time to add the text.

 

One Last Flower

Halfway through one last flower. It's that and two blades of grass to call this finished.

 

All Lodged Up

This came out kind of cute - Lodge with an Owl from a kit. Now to make it into something.

This small piece is a quick stitch that will come along. Already have most of the head done.

 

Filling in Wing

The wing is looking more substantial now. Just have to fill it all in to finish the top three pages.

 

Working Down the Vines

Time to concentrate solely on the vines since the alphabet's done.

 

Edge of the Skirt

Now started working on the bottom edge of the skirt. The end's in sight. Though it will take a while longer.

 

A Garden of Flowering Trees

I added this to my current rotation, so you'll see it more often for a while. Working on this piece makes me happy.

 

Started an Attic

Both an attic and a couple of shutters are taking form.

 

Lots of Argyle

What's an argyle pattern in Moorish archtecture? I don't know, so it's argyle. And there's a lot of it in this piece.

 

Wandered Again

A repeat stitch. I keep coming back to this one because foreign service life....

 

Another Flower Complete

My big flower looks really good, I think. A bit more on flowers to go.

 

A Bit of Stone

The panda looks like a red panda now and the face looks cute. But it needs to get more of the background done.

 

Bringing the Tail

Making more peacock eyes on the tail. And more to come as I go rightwards.

 

Up to T

All the alphabet is getting done more quickly than the bits around it. 

 

Bottom of Skirt Sighted

The very bottom of what I have done is the bottom band of the skirt - the end of the skirt is in sight.

 

Four Trees Done

One more tree complete and time to start another.

 

Down on the Leg

All that's left on this froggie is the legs. So legs are being worked on.

 

Every Stitch Counts

It's hard to see the progress when things are so large, but I promise I did my usual amount of stitching on this. It's a bit more of the little house. This still has some ways to go.

 

Two Big Flakes

Two big flakes and the top of a tree mean a Christmas ornament in progress.
