Crazy January #8 - Palpitations

I am working on this now - it's from an old class by mail.  In it, she uses yarn.  Yarn is -not- a good idea.  It breaks.

Finished Swirl

I finished up my woven ribbons.  I think it came out pretty well!  No idea when I will make it into something though, since I don't have MolDeco close by.

Pointing It Out

The middles done.  Now it's time to get the outsides finished!

Blue FIlling

This session I got all the blue filling on the middle done.  Next it's time to add more bling.

Centrality

This has the center done, finally.  It's time to work on getting the rest of the central diamond done.

Crazy January Start #3: Woven Ribbons

The bargello in this is coming along quickly, even though I put it on linen instead of congress cloth.

Crazy January Challenge Day 15

It's a really bad picture, but it was a good (and short!) project.  Watercolour Egg from Sekas and Co. was an easy bargello design.  The perforated paper is a very shiny silver, and the thread is Watercolours Williamsburg.  I managed to make two whole eggs from the kit, so I'm going to put them back to back to make one ornament.  Yay for my first challenge finish of the year.  May there be many more!

A Bargello Finish!

Yay! A finish just before I move!  All the stitching's done, but the piece won't take its final form until I'm in Moldova.  Andreas wants it to be a dice bag, so it probably will be that.  It's always been meant to be a bag, but I had no clue what to store in it.  I love working with these Tentakulum silks.  They're hard to find in the US, but if you see some, pick them up. 

Not Quite Yet

I think the next time I take this out, I'll just go ahead and finish it.  Didn't do it this time, but was tempted!

Dragging Out the Last

One day soon, I'm going to be working on this and just go for finishing it.  That day wasn't the last time I worked on it, though.

Starting on the Last

I am finally on the last rectangle of the bag!  It's started, and I only have to finish it to get the whole thing done.

Resisted!

I successfully resisted starting the fourth rectangle until the third one's done.  It's completed now, so I just have to work on this last part and the stitching will be done.  Yay!

Still Being Good

I've managed to resist the urge to start the fourth rectangle once more.  I'm even almost done with the third!

Still Have Willpower

I've still managed not to start the fourth rectangle.  Who knows if I'll be able to hold on until this one's done, though.  After all, I'm -so close- to being completely done.

Back in Bag

Truly, I'm being good.  As you can see, I haven't started the fourth panel yet.  Got another couple of stripes done, though.

Resisting

So far I've managed to resist starting the fourth rectangle and have kept working on just the third.  But I'm so close to being done!

Second Square Done!

Yay!  I finished the second square!  Only a bit less than two more to go.

Over Halfway

I believe I am now officially over halfway done with the embroidery on this.  One whole and two partial rectangles to go.

Bagging It

It's getting more baglike as I start in on the third side.  And it's getting more done!  Yay, maybe I'll finish it before the end of the year.

Caved In

I ended up starting the third rectangle, so I could feel like I had a new start.  it's a more orange-ish and spiky one, so it's almost like a new start, isn't it?
