Harbinger of Spring

My little midwinter robin is complete. I think it will be put on my wall.

 

On to the Big Leaves

Central little leaves done, and now it's time to do the last big elements.

 

First Snowed

A nice little piece that I may turn into a bookmark or something else. Anyway, I think it came out cute.
 

One and a Half Leaves

One and a half of the center leaves done. This is coming along pretty well.

 

Not So Bright Idea

Finished, but I really should have used a different color of fabric. So it will be going in the donation pile. Lesson learned: Don't settle for the fabric you have on hand when you're away from your stash.

 

A Useful Finish

I had this little square box. And a completed piece of needlepoint that fit right on top. So I married the two.

 

Almost Bulbed

This is getting so close to being done. 

 

Down to the Home Stretch

About to get to the neck of the lightbulb shape. Wish I had a less drab piece of material available when I started this.

 

Tips of Leaves

Both leaf tips are done, and one of the middle leaves is on the way.

 

On to the Center

Yay, a new color and a new bit to do. Time for these center leaves. Things are going on well at this point.

 

Sheepies

My meadow is complete.

 

Most of a Hand

One corner is fully enclosed and the first hand is outlined. This looks like a pretty big piece this way.

 

Pinking Leaves

Getting close to having the pink leaves done.

 

Starting the Stems

Nearing the end as I am on the stems now. It's only stems to go, along with a couple more tiny buds.

 

Still No Panda

A way to go before the panda starts appearing, but I got more colored leaves done.

 

Second Bud

This is obviously getting closer to done. The second bud is coming along, and the third bud is started. This should be done soon.

 

Halfway Point

I believe I am at the halfway point of this now. It's all getting more narrow from here.

 

Inner Diamond

I can tell I'm making real progress because I'm now on the inner diamond. That's the true center of the design.

 

Two Sets

Two sets of leaves down, two sets to go.

 

Middle Color

The middle color is now present.  It's coming along.
