Another Side

The right got a bit of love this time. I want to get all four quarters to the same point each time.  I will have a LOT of rhodes stitches to fill in once I'm done with this part of the mandala.

Still On The Peahen

I not only got more of the back of the peahen done, there's more purple on the peacock's tail now too.

January Tea

I am now drinking at least a cup of tea every morning.  After all, I have to drink all this stuff!

Down To The Gates

I am down to the bottom of the gates on the first edge all the way down.  It's coming fairly slowly, but at the same time progress is real.

Sporty Ipsy

The bag from this one was very sporty, and the mesh felt weird to me.  I am getting around to using the products now.

Some Daily Work

After several days of daily stitching, panel two is almost complete.

Calming Piece

This turned out well.  I'll make it into a nice round ornament.

Striping The Petals

I like working crewel.  This piece is satisfying that itch for now.  Time for me to get these petals fully striped.

Ipsy Time

Lots of ipsy goodness in this.

Nolive Done

I am now done with Nolive.  One more finish down.  This will become an ornament.

February Finished

February was a lot less to stitch, so it got completed early.  Yay!

More Glossy Goodness

This glossybox had a hair product in it - Show Riche - that I have fallen in love with.  Andreas got me more for when this one runs out.

On To Christmas

After this photo, but for about a week, this became my daily stitch.  Look for a lot of progress next time.

New Fabric

The fabric reminds me of a forest; now I have to find something to play that up.

Crossing The Top

This has come back up on my rotation, and I have rediscovered that this color combination appeals to me.  The top border is stitching up pretty quickly, so I hope this is one of those small, fast projects.

Honeyed Fruit

A few weeks ago we went to a rakia tasting, and we bought some.  Pictures of that later.  This is some honeyed fruit the rakia makers also made.  It'll be good in oatmeal and such, as it is far too sweet to eat alone.

Getting Bigger

I am so very close to the vertical halfway point of this!  It's growing, to the point where Andreas remarked that it's getting large.  I still love the look of it.  Once I'm past the halfway point, I'll start backstitching too.

More Pink

Still working on the top flower, but it's definitely getting closer to a finish.  I added some brick color to the right hand flower, too.

All Glossied Up

Yay for Glossy Box!  It arrived and had all these goodies in it.  I've been using more out of my boxes lately and taking care of myself.

Found In Started Pile

This is from my UFO pile.  It's from the Sweetheart Tree and is named Cache Heart.  I should be able to finish it pretty quickly.

Upper Quadrant

This photo is much more true to color than the last one.  I like the swirls on the fabric; they help the design.  Building bits up as I make it bigger.

Blue Roofing

The blue roof on the left is coming along nicely.  Soon it will be done, as will be all the little Rhodes stitches for the bottom of the houses.

Peahen Again

I worked on the peahen this session, along with a little bit of the peacock tail.  Getting close to the halfway point.

Japanese Candy

Andreas' parents sent me candy from Japan as part of my Christmas present.  It arrived last week after spending a couple of months on the USS Nimitz.  The fruit gums were good, and I will be breaking into the creme brulee kit kats tomorrow.

Mazes Appear

There are now mazes appearing in the red stitches.

Borders Begun

Getting very close to finishing this, as most of two out of three borders are done.

Pretty Fabric

My monthly subscription from Fiberlicious.  I adore this fabric.

Second Paneling

Definitely working on the second panel now, and it is currently my daily stitch.

Well Onto February

February's band is much simpler and smaller than January's.  Time to get this one done.

Different Color For Me

Handmade silver filigree earrings I found at the Christmas bazaar.

Creeping Down

The bottom half has a lot less stitching on it than the top, and I am getting so very close to the bottom half.  Maybe I should start back stitching soon.

Back To Petals

The middle is all filled in now, and there are more petals, especially around the pink.

Drawing Set

If only I had time to draw!  I am completely set to.  I need to make time.  Most of the pens are at least in use.

Kosovar Doily

Found this doily at our little Christmas market.  I think it's cute.

Filling In Feathers

The feathers are becoming fuller now.  I only have a few more to add in.

Eternal Flame

This is Sarajevo's eternal flame.  It's tucked in between where two streets come together.

A Stitchalong Start

This stitchalong is from Lakeside Needlecraft, and I haven't been working on it much.  But I have now officially started!

Filigree Cross

Found this at the embassy Christmas fair and bought it for my mom.  It was handmade here in Kosovo.

More Windows And A Staircase

More photos of pretty stained glass windows, and I always wonder about this kind of stair.

Second Chimney

The second chimney is added and now I have bits of the third part, too.

More than Three Quarters

I've got my three-quarters point done.  Time to finish this puppy.

A New Item Collector

I made this leather dish for putting small things in.  First time I've used rivets!

The Orthodox Church

The Orthodox church allowed us to take photos, so Andreas did.  It was also pretty much rebuilt, just like the Catholic one, after the war.
