New Drink

Leonora brought this back from Kosovo. It's by one of the gin makers, and is a hazelnut liquor with lavender. Have yet to taste it, but the bottle is fantastic.

 

Last Pauna

Last time at Restaurant Pauna on the Kosovo restaurant tour. Pauna has some of the best atmosphere, but its food is only middling.

 

Hotel Trofta Food

Nope, I don't like fish, but I love the atmosphere of Hotel Trofta, so we had to do it as part of our farewell tour. Lots of fish, but I had steak, and a wonderful spread. Everyone had a great time after the gin and raki tasting at Fron.

Last Fiorentina

I heard recently that Fiorentina is no longer there. The building's been torn down to expand the television studio. It was the premier steak place in Pristina and will be missed.

 

Large Leonora Dinner for the Pod

Before we left Kosovo, Leonora made dinner for the pod. It was wonderful. And huge. Was the last time we were all gathered in Kosovo, too, as Kerrie left a couple of days later.

 

Donal's Birthday Cake

We had a big dinner at a hotel for Donal's birthday and brought a cake Leonora made. She and Granit were there. The hotel added the fireworks. It was a spiffy surprise.

 

Last Time Liburnia

This meal was our last time at Liburnia. It was as great as usual, and the atmosphere with friends is missed.
