Leonora got me these beautiful flowers for my birthday. I love them.

Brandenburg Gate
Back where the wall came down. I don't think the Talking Heads ever played here, though. It's a beautiful place now. With too many tourists.

Birthday Cake
Leonora made me a birthday cake when we got back from our long trip. It was lemon and raspberry and delicious and appreciated. Thank you, Leonora!

Garden in Gutter Lane Kit
The class has started but I've been too busy to start, too. I am also going to have to completely change the goldwork part because I don't like the idea of a great big needle through the piece.

More of the Road
More of this exhibit. This part was about the way Stalin wanted to unite Germany under his terms - that were about voting.

Yarn for Andreas
Andreas is going to Kyiv in the summer to work. I want to make him something to bring with him, so he's approved an afghan with this yarn. Now to start. He will need something warm for the winter.
The Road Less Traveled Part 1
The first part of the Road Less Traveled was about the fall of the Berlin Wall. I find it weird that they put the most recent event first; it would have made more sense to go from older to newer events. Like I said in a previous post, this didn't really explore the idea of an alternate turn of events. It was more like - if this didn't happen, things would have been bad. That's about it.

Christmas Countdown Box
This was from Stitchy Box and was mailed after the start of advent, so I received it around the 20th. Kind of disappointing. More disappointing, I also ordered the Christmas Bash box - and received it busted open with nearly everything missing. She has agreed to send me a bash box in the spring. We will see.
Quilted Ball
When we went to the Christmas Market in Brno, we found a quilt guild selling things! And one of the things I bought was this pretty ball. Turns out Brno is the center of quilting and patchwork in Europe. Who knew?
One Last Mystery Box
One last mystery box. I got some things I really like, and some not so thrilled with. But that's how it goes.
