Andreas and Leonora have developed a game of hide the gnome during the holidays. This gnome was added this year. It only was hidden a couple of times before Leonora left. But now it's hidden again. My home is overrun with gnomes at Christmas.

View from the Ritz
Our view from the Ritz. The plaza is Potsdamer Platz - a place the wall ran through. If you zoom in you can see a line on the pavement. That line is where the wall was. Now there's a mall and a U Bahn station.

Tour Gift
Our gift for going on the food tour in September. She had forgotten it at the time so dropped it at the embassy.
Lots of Confetti
Many color changes in the area on the right I am working on now. But still progress, and I will be filling in the gaps soon.
Wroclaw Drawing
We bought this while in Wroclaw in October. It's of a church there. I liked it and we don't have much in the way of Polish art.

Ritz Welcome
We were in Berlin in early October and stayed at the Ritz. Andreas had amassed enough points that we were able to stay three nights. It was wonderful. They put us on the club level, close to the lounge. The staff were lovely and welcoming. And the room was beautiful too.
On top of that, because of Andreas' Marriott status, we received this cute welcome gift. It was so sweet. Definitely recommend.

Darn Good Yarn
Bought two grab bags from Darn Good Yarn, a yarn one and a finished goods one. Got a skirt and a top and a wine bag and a couple other things in the finished goods one. And some pretty yarn in the other. Time to use both.

One Darker
The back wing is definitely darker than the front. They both stand out well on this fabric, at least.
Much Orange to Go
His face looks precious, but now it's time to work on his body. Lots of orange to go for his back, but at least it's started.
Bits of Bayeux
Saw the tapestry again in October on a wet and chilly day. We visited the cathedral and walked a little bit downtown.

Dinner in Sopot
Family meal at a craft brewery in Sopot. Food was good and Andreas's dad enjoyed the beer flight. I had a tasty raspberry cocktail, too.
