Time for a Hilton
Okay, so it's a lot of Hilton stitches. They're all placed, though, and ready to be interspersed with satin stitches next round.

A Temari for a Joining
Just over a week ago, I attended a bridal shower for Danielle and Christel, who are both getting married in the States this summer. This is the temari I made for Christel. Her favorite color is pink and her fiance's is blue.
Last of the Baby Clothes
Here are the rest of the clothes that were dyed at Florine's baby shower. They're all packed up and ready to mail back to Florida to await delivery.

Peaches and Shutters
I added some peach to the top area of the house and started in on two sets of shutters. It's feeling good to be more than halfway done.
More Creative Baby Clothes
As you can see from these clothes, the participants have decided views about the baby! The clothes are cuter in person, too. One more post tomorrow with the last of the cuteness. None of these people had done any kind of fabric art before, so this proves it's doable by anyone.

Three of Four
And another leaf done, this one in a medieval filling stitch. One more leaf then on to the background!
Colorful Baby
Our backyard was the location of a baby shower recently. One of our friends, Florine, and her husband, are expecting their first child in October. Since they leave Uruguay in a few weeks, we decided to have a baby shower. Instead of the usual games, we played "paint the baby clothes". These are some of the results. Every guest made something. The rest will show up in posts over the next couple of days.
