May's Meeting Project

This is a picture of the beginning of the project for the May CyberStitchers meeting.  It's all blackwork, low on supplies necessary, and very, very quick.  Are you going to try it?

Racing, Moldovan Style

These photos are from last September, but they just got processed.  Moldova has its own car racing league, completely private and supported by local businesses.  Some of the drivers are women, and the courses are all road courses.  The main one for Chisinau is a couple of blocks from our house, and is a main, wide road that gets blocked off for the whole course.  This makes it long and skinny with tight corners - and also makes it so the person who's got the pole position at the beginning of the race is, by far, most likely to win.  They race in heats of three or four cars.  Races start next month!

Last Of The National Museum

These are the last of my imperfect pictures at the National Museum.  As you can tell, they do a -lot- of cross stitch.

New Strategy

Since I'm so close to the bottom of this, I've decided to work on finishing it from left to right now.  The bottom left corner is all done - yay! - which means I'm getting close to the end.  As you can see, though, the stitching is a lot more dense on the bottom half than the top.

More Textiles

I know these pictures aren't up to my usual standard.  That's because I took them with the point and shoot instead of Andreas taking them with the Nikon.  I hope to drag Andreas out to this museum at some point to take better pictures.  Anyway, lots of beautiful local textiles to look at!

Daffodilling

Well, I've gotten a lot of work done on this and even have one flower complete.  Maybe I'll get it all done soon.
