Made For Baby

One of my colleagues is now on maternity medevac in London.  Before she left, we threw her a small party.  I made this afghan for her.  And no, it's not a boy, but the color's pretty!  Have a great time in London awaiting the arrival of your baby daughter, Elena!

Below The X

Just filling in a lot of variegated blue.  Feels sooo slow.

On The Green

I'm on just greens now, and it's going fairly quickly.  I finally feel like the end of this part is in sight.  Yay!

New Shawl

Andreas doesn't usually look at a piece of clothing and say, "You must have that!"  He did it with this shawl, though, and it was a good choice.  We found it in a small store in Odessa, and it's completely handknit out of an angora-blend yarn.  It's soft, fluffy, beautiful, and will be warm when autumn hits in a few weeks.

Starting The Hair

This week looks like a lot of progress because it was all concentrated in one area - and a bright color.  It feels good to see such progress.

Pretty Ribbon

I found this ribbon at Gemeni and thought it would be good for something patriotic.  Now to make that something patriotic.

Little Extra Second Version

I decided to do this pattern in different materials than recommended, too.  This one's in Wildflowers on lugana.  It's pretty small, but I like the way it looks so far.
