Not Quite Thai

Vila Tulip bills itself as a Thai restaurant.  I suppose it is if you're Moldovan and never left the country.  The spring rolls were good, and the soup was not too spicy.  The duck in orange sauce was wonderful.  On the other hand... since when does chicken satay come with pesto sauce?  This one was completely baffling to us.  The three of us also had desserts that we shared.  They were middle of the road.  We'll go back to Tulip, but it won't be because we want real Thai food.

Turning A New Shell

The H is started and the shell is almost done.

Paris Buildings And Cars

While wandering around Les Halles, we took more pics.  The ones I like best are of the old CV2's (They're the Beetle-like cars.).

Working Away

More leaves are making an appearance as I crawl down this piece.

Dinner With A Game

We actually had dinner at Little Texas both nights we were in Iasi.  It was all about relaxing.  The table was big enough to play a game without disturbing our meal, too.  We played the cards only edition of Railways of the World a few times that weekend.  We didn't test the Mexican thing, but went for more regular menu items.  When not trying to be something they're not, they're much more likely to get the food right!

On The Seine

Pictures taken while walking alone the Seine.  We spent over three weeks in France and spent only one evening in Paris downtown.

Magazine Finds

I found these magazines at a media store in Krakow's main mall.  They're beautiful and in a few different languages.  I hope to start crocheting some of the designs soon.
