The bee lady came back to the embassy earlier this month. Since I have several beeswax figures for my needlework habit, I bought some candles instead. They're molded as rose gardens.
Honfleur's church was built in the 18th century in the shape of an inverted ship, using ship construction methods. This makes for a somewhat different looking church. It's also still a very used parish church, as you can see from the posters and such.
We have learned that small groups at Griffin Pub are fine. It's the big groups that throw them for a loop. The particular night of these pictures, the group was huge. It took two hours to get our food.
We went from Paris to Normandy on Monday. On Tuesday, we decided to go to Honfleur. It was a beautiful sunny day, if a bit chily. The carousel is on the yacht basin and glitters in the sun. It was a pretty crowded day in Honfleur, too, but we managed to have a good time.
