Normally Andreas would never do something like this, but he indulged me in Krakow. We went to a place that had a set dinner and a show. I wanted to see if anything looked familiar to me from watching my grandfather as a child. It wasn't, but that's not surprising. Some of the songs and dances were vaguely familiar, though. The area they had to work with was tiny! The show was good, and I have video of it. I'll try to put the video up soon.

Food At The Outdoor Market
Raspberry pierogies! They're awesome and were for sale at a little fair behind St. Mary's in Krakow. I had a couple of plates of them while we were there. We also had lunch there one day. There were flavorful sausages and roast potatoes and perfectly kosher bright green pickles. The cole slaw was good too! I've found food at markets to be either excellent or awful. Either way, it's cheap, so try it!

Great Yarn Shop
This is a picture of the yarn shop we discovered in Frankfurt. The service is excellent and the owner very friendly! I showed you what I bought from her several posts ago. Most of that stash is here with me on vacation in the US so I have something to do in the car. Her shop is right on the 18 tram line next to a stop!
Invito Pizza
This pizza place was directly under our apartment in Krakow. We decided to try it, and it was delicious. The portions were large and the crusts were soft. I had the bacon and onion pizza; Andreas' was pepperoni and olives. He also had an olive bread appetizer, and I had mushroom soup. The olive bread wasn't anything special. It was pizza crust paved with black olives. The soup was warm and delicious and had mushroom chunks all through it. Andreas also had a Greek salad and we both had froufrou drinks. Mine was a cherry and vodka thing that tasted close to cough syrup. Andreas' mixture of pineapple and strawberry was better.
