All Boxed Up

After finishing this last summer, I finally took this Iris piece designed by Laura J. Perin to the framer last month.  We decided to make it into a box.  MolDeco did a great job and were impressed enough with my stitching to ask for the piece for an exhibition starting tomorrow.  It's there, and I'm the only foreigner in it.  Go, me!  Needlepoint, outside of continental stitch, is very rare around here.

Making A Square

The bottom half of  the inner square is taking shape even as the lampposts look almost finished.  It feels like progress.

Back Outdoors

Old bunker doors lead back outside.  The landscape is stark and bleak, even on a sunny (if chilly) summer day.

Block For Donna

This was my last block to work on in the country garden round robin.  I didn't have much to fill in because of all the previous work and busy prints, but I managed to add some things.  Below you can see the additions.

Finally Framed

The photo's kind of dark, but you can still see how nice Andreas' compass rose looks all framed up.  The frame is copper-brushed wood, and there's a double mat with some fancification in it.  Now to find a place to hang it.  Thanks MolDeco.

Artifacts
