No Green For Now

I felt like I did something other than green this time.  Some more roof is done, as is quite a bit of the top window.  I was getting tired of green.

It's A Tree

I saw this tree at the 4.0 winery tasting center outside of Fredericksburg and took a picture.  It just looked like a lovely specimen to me - one that I'd want in my yard.

On To The Shells

I'm on to the seashells now.  There's only one big sandcastle below, but it's got a lot of detail to it.  I'm getting farther, though!

Corner And Foundation

I have one corner all backstitched now and another one started.  I also have a really good foundation of the domes here as it gets bigger.  More and more rows done; it's nice to have some small parts to work on after the last two huge ones.

My Air Moldova Bag

One of the ladies I work with in Bacioi also makes these beautiful purses.  They're all paper that's been given or thrown away by local businesses.  This one is from Air Moldova brochures.  I love it, and that she managed to get such a beautiful repeat pattern in it.  I bought it when they came to the embassy to sell some of their crafts and earn money for the community center.

Back Inside

After transiting the grounds, we went into the storage rooms where the cognac ages.  It smells wonderful and is scrupulously clean.  The tube snaking across the floor in one of  the photos is transferring cognac to the bottling area.

The very last photo is the area set up for our tasting.  As you can see, we tasted a lot of brandy!  They had a very nice cold spread of food for us, too.

Last Of This

Knowing that I'd made progress but not finished this, the owner asked for it back.  I'm happy that I can add something new to my rotation instead of this and that it had a lot of progress.
