Down The Mine With Gnomes

This is one of the nice sets of stairs we took downward between levels in the mine.  I've seen very elderly people with walkers do this tour.  I don't know how they do the stairs ....

There are gnomes working around the edges of the stairs.  Maybe the gnomes catch them when they fall.

One Door Down

One portal is done on the side now, and I'm beginning to climb up the edge of the grass again.

Serenity Temari

I made this temari for a friend who retired from the foreign service over the summer.  It's inspired by the flag from Firefly, one of his favorite shows.

Turning The Screw

 This diorama shows the same screw lift type that was in ruins on the miner's route.  Although nonfunctioning, this one's in much better shape.

Peachy Keen

All the bits of the Peach Forest are done.  I've got another piece off my list and, for the first time this year, feel I'm finishing things off.  Too bad the year ends so soon!

Boring

I'm sure this is going to look really neat when it's done, but for now this piece is boring!

The Great Escape

 We did an escape room exercise in Krakow and had a lot of fun stretching our brains.  Andreas, Yvette, and I solved the puzzle and escaped the room!  Yvette's holding our lovely trophy.  If you're at all puzzle or mathematically minded, I suggest you try one of these.
