I finished May a couple of days before the end of May. It felt good to be able to take a few days off from this project. I do like how it's coming together.
I collect hairsticks that I use as laying tools. This latest hand carved piece was bought in Odessa when we were there for the weekend a couple of weeks ago. It's got a lovely satiny finish.
For the past few months I've been getting ipsy bags. They're very inexpensive and give me a way to try new things. This is what I received in my May bag. Everything comes completely unharmed in a cute pink metallic mailing envelope, even all the way to Moldova!
It's been a while since I finished it. I had wanted to make it into a cushion, but Andreas wanted to frame it, so that's what happened. The frame was hand painted at MolDeco, and they did their usual fantastic job.
