Inshore Offshore

These are offshore drilling rig platforms - the ones that look for new wells.  And they're tied up close to shore because they're not exploring with the price of oil so low.  At least they're being tended, unlike most other things in the harbor.

On To The Inner Pink

I am now working on the inner pink part!  Very little else to go.  Maybe I will finish this while I'm in Florida.

Now I Know My ABC's

Alphabet's done and I'm down to the basket.

Invasion Of The Daleks

These cranes sit on the Ilha side of the harbor and, to me, look like a bunch of daleks invading the water.  Andreas says I'm silly for imagining it so.

So Close

More and more bits get filled in as I get closer to the end of this part.  Yay!

The Breakers

The breakers break old ships apart.  This is their complex at the mouth of the harbor.  It's sad in a way, but at least they're recycling.  You can see they live out there, too.  It's only a mile or so to shore.

How Too Brown

There is so very much brown in this piece!  I am sick of brown.  But the brown is catching up to the peacocks finally.  Maybe I'll be able to go to some color soon.
