Marble or Wood?

It certainly looks like it's a wood top, but it's marble. Either way, it's one big heavy slab.

 

Going to the Market

Of course we did food tours in Athens. The first stop on the first tour was the big market. Lots of spice on the outside, lots of meat and fish inside.

More Pattern for Inspiration

Lots of patterns in the palace.  Almost too much, sometimes. It's a bit more of opulence.

 

All About People

Lots of representations of people doing different things. This is the last of the rooms in the archaeological museum, and it is worthy of being so.
