This is the farthest south point of the Greek mainland, so the ancients built a temple to Poseidon on it. It's beautiful, but looks forlorn there.

Prizren Castle
You can see it at the top of the hill between the houses. In this photo, it's about 300 meters away.

Thermopylae
Thermopylae is just off the highway on the way to Athens. It's definitely worth the stop. They even have a replica stone. And there were a bunch more people than 300. Those were the Spartans. The Thesbians were there too. 700 of them. There is a monument to them and a whole museum to the battle.

Cafeteria Food
I miss the cafeteria in Kosovo. They are great guys and would make special things for you. They knew I loved roast beef and never got it at home, so they always saved me some when they made it. And below, I present the "Garima," a special ice cream dish made for a birthday.
