My roses are done and my tree is taking shape.  Couching this way takes less time than I thought, and the ribbon roses are a cinch.

At the Yard Sale, a rather hipster event not far from our house, I found this artist who works with soutache to make jewelry.  This is what I bought.  Every time I wear them, I get compliments!  I think they're lovely.

So, yes, I have gotten more experimental lately in my style choices.  I found these earcuffs on Etsy and they're beautiful!  They even fit so comfortably in your ear you forget you're wearing them!
