Time for some color variety by working on the tail. It's about the only time it happens.

Filling in Boxes
More boxes to go, but this is filling in nicely. I've definitely modified the threads and colors, but not the stitches.

Leonora Masterpieces
Since we have loads of cocoa and Leonora wanted to practice roll cakes, she made these for us to take in to work. They were appreciated by everyone.

Royal Stables in Dresden
That giant mural was actually plastered on the side of the royal stables. We turned the corner and went in.

A Truly Giant Mosaic
This is one long procession all done in tile. It was completed in the 1900's before WWI and depicts all the rulers of the area around Dresden. For fans of 1632, it's got the Wettins mentioned in the series here. They were real people at the time. All of this is tile. It's amazing. And it's about 300 meters long, all on one side of a palace.

Bits of Bright Gold
Every once in a while now I get to use the kreinik braid to make little sparkly wheat ears on the edges. It means the end of the skirt is near. I believe I have between 70 and 80 more rows to go on this.
Wedel Chocolates
Wedel's been a chocolate brand in Poland since the 1840's. They make a great hot chocolate and have some truly artisanal chocolate pieces. The tray is what we sampled from during our food tour. Pretty and tasty.

Little White Belly
The little blue frog at the bottom has a complete little white belly. Still have a lot of leg to go on him, though.
Koneser in Praha
Koneser is an old factory in Praha. It's been transformed into a shopping and residential district with everything from a vodka museum to the Google hub. It was also the last stop on our food tour, with chocolates from E.Wedel.

Leonora Made Dinner
Leonora decided to make burgers back in February. They were really good. We were full. We miss her, and not just for her cooking.

Dresden View and Welcome Gift
Our hotel in Dresden was a bit off the main spaces, but parking was easy and cheap downtown, so it made sense. Not really sure about the welcome gifts, though. Never heard of getting .. rocks.
