Bringing the Tail

Making more peacock eyes on the tail. And more to come as I go rightwards.

We Do Wings

Still more done on the wings here.

Up to T

All the alphabet is getting done more quickly than the bits around it.

Half the Bulb

I have half the top bulb done here. A bit to go, but it should be a fairly quick stitch.

Bottom of Skirt Sighted

The very bottom of what I have done is the bottom band of the skirt - the end of the skirt is in sight.

Another Sewscription Box

I am thinking about discontinuing this subscription because I haven't had time to make much from them. I will hopefully have more time now that Andreas is home, but I thought I would have more when he left... and I ended up with less time to myself.

The Barracks

This was actually the barracks where the first battle of WWII began. There were fewer than 100 men. Yet they managed to hold out for two weeks.

More Mini Dioramas

Looking at the terrain and set up of the Battle of Waterloo.

Living Their Best Lives

All the puppies relaxing and enjoying their best lives.

On the Way to Underground

Hitler had a plan to build an underground city at the end of the war. He even started it. The plan was to have hundreds of square miles underground. This is one of the entrances, in a sleepy village in Poland. All of it is in what is now Poland, in the southwest corner. They used concentration camp slaves to build it. This is the nice little entryway.
Because all the workers were killed, this place and the plan weren't even discovered until decades after the war. Here's the entrance to the city. It was called Project Riese.

Four Trees Done

One more tree complete and time to start another.

Down on the Leg

All that's left on this froggie is the legs. So legs are being worked on.

Every Stitch Counts

It's hard to see the progress when things are so large, but I promise I did my usual amount of stitching on this. It's a bit more of the little house. This still has some ways to go.

Two Big Flakes

Two big flakes and the top of a tree mean a Christmas ornament in progress.

Little Order

A few things I ordered off the website. Got the wallet free. I found I like both these styles.

Westerplatte

This area is where the very first battle of WWII began. It's a beautiful little wooded area along the Baltic coast.

Learning About Waterloo

There's a pretty sizable and modern museum at the Waterloo Battlefield, where Napoleon was defeated. This shows some of the dioramas depicting the order of battle.
