26 for 2026 #1: Hope by Reflets de Soie

Here's the beginning of Hope. I like these little beaded ornaments.

Filling In Circles

Filling in the circles on here.

Lots of Mushrooms

Lots of mushrooms around a fern. And all of them done.

A Garden of Flowering Trees

I added this to my current rotation, so you'll see it more often for a while. Working on this piece makes me happy.

Skincare Advent Calendar

Lots of nice stuff from Kiehl's, courtesy of Andreas.

Euro Bison

Wola National Park is on an island near Szczeczin (Stettin) on the Polish-German border. They have a bison sanctuary there that you can visit. Euro bison are definitely smaller than the American version.

Order of March

A whole wall of mannequins dressed up in order of march for Napolean's army. Along with some re-enactors.

Autumn Walkies

Puppies posing on an autumn day.

Looking Down Tunnels

Tunnels to look down and a bit of the tools used. Notice now they squared everything up and backfilled arched ceilings.

Lots of Argyle

What's an argyle pattern in Moorish archtecture? I don't know, so it's argyle. And there's a lot of it in this piece.

Street Scene Framed

The backstitching made all the difference. It's also been gifted to its new owner.

Another Sewscription

I have so many fabrics and patterns from this subscription box. I truly need to start doing them, but work and Andreas' absence have been in the way.

Explaining Bonaparte

Maps that explained Bonaparte and his conquests before Waterloo. Plus big portraits.
