Still working on the bands then starting the next big leaf.  The leaf's got the edge backstitched and is ready to fill in.

Photos Can Be Deceiving

 My set of photos here are of the same apartment as the one on booking.com here.  You can see the similarities, but the rental company deliberately photographed the apartment to hide several flaws, including the fact that the bedrooms interconnected and that the sitting room was also the kitchen.  The breakfast nook is so small you can't even get into it with the kitchen table there.  We were sorely disappointed with our apartment in Krakow because of the deliberate misleading.  It was accomplished by very careful camera placement and the use of a fisheye lense.  Be careful when you book!  I'm sure other landlords use the same tricks.

 The Krakow walking  tour ends at Castle Wawel.  As we had a private tour the next day, we didn't take many photos.  The panorama at the bottom of the post is of the main courtyard.

Third Egg

I am all done with the third of seven egg designs!  These are working up pretty quickly.

On To The Low Building

Now that I have both towers done it's time to work on the last bit of  building down toward the bottom.  Over halfway done with this part!

Skip Dinner, Go For Breakfast

We didn't get to Krakow on Monday night as planned.  Instead, we allowed ourselves to be bumped and received 500 euros and a free night with dinner and breakfast at the NH Vienna airport hotel.  As per my post yesterday, we had already had dinner a few hours before and weren't really hungry, but we decided to go look anyway.  Dinner was miserable looking!  There weren't any real straight up meats.  The pastas looked pasty.  Lots of fish, but we don't eat fish.  I had salad.  Andreas even had salad.  It was that bad.

 Breakfast, on the other hand, was much better.  There was a large selection of fresh fruit.  The eggs were fresh.  Even the wait staff were perkier.  Lots of fresh juice, too, and pastries.  

We arrived late to both meals, so it wasn't a difference of timing in that they were at the end of serving.  It was just that dinner was that bad.  At both meals, they were still putting out food when we left.
